Welcome
Hello! My name is Deborah (which means ‘bee’)
Bespoke. My cards and gifts are all handmade. Most of the work I do for people is at their request. But I also make cards for pleasure and put them up for sale. You will find these in the Ready Made Card section, and to make them that bit more personal, I can customise the inside (and sometimes the outside) for you.
Everything I make is made with love and care, but inevitably because it is handmade there are always little elements that might not be quite perfect, that is part of the charm!
Each card I make for you takes time. It has been known to take me up to four hours to make a newly commissioned card for someone including research, design thinking time, sorting and cutting out design options, finding the right coloured card and so on.
So you can tell getting it right for you is really important. I don’t do this for profit but rather for the love of doing it. I think everyone should be able to receive cards that suit them exactly.
Perhaps you would like a card for someone special for their 75th birthday? No problem. Just tell me what interests them, what kind of colour ranges you like and I will be on to it.
Or Anniversaries. It can be particularly tricky to find just the right card for the right people. Or you can’t find a card in the shops or online for that anniversary at all. Well now you can. I will design one especially for you.
Keeping you in the loop is really important in the design of your card. I will send you photographs of a draft and a final design by email or to your phone, so you can decide if you want changes and what these might be.
Every little detail is important. So whether I am customising an existing card inside or outside, please make sure you have all the details correct. Once any customised card is posted I can’t refund any mistakes unless made by me.
I am based in Oxfordshire in England, and the prices you see include postage to the UK. If you are contacting me from outside the UK to have a card made, please contact me first as I will need to check postage costs and let you know what these are, so you can decide if you want to go ahead or if it is prohibitive.
